  1. Check Point Remote Access VPN is most compared with OpenVPN Access Server, Zscaler Private Access, Citrix Gateway, TeamViewer and Symantec VIP Access Manager, whereas Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is most compared with Zscaler Private Access, OpenVPN Access Server, Fortinet FortiClient, Prisma Access by Palo Alto Networks and F5 BIG-IP.
  2. Type “Cisco AnyConnect”. Right-click the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client icon. This will bring up a list of options. Hover over Send to, then click Desktop (create shortcut).Now that you have a desktop shortcut, you can double-click the icon whenever you want to launch Cisco AnyConnect in the future.

To disconnect, click the AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client icon in your task bar or dock to bring up the AnyConnect dialog box. Click Disconnect to end your VPN session. If you have the Cisco AnyConnect pre-logon VPN client, you will need to connect to VPN before logging into your Windows user account.

Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client Vpn

Cisco's AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is a Virtual Private Network (VPN) client that works on a wide variety of operating systems and hardware configurations. For more information about VPNs, see: Virtual Private Network at MIT. The new Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and service will work under Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. There are also device-specific versions for many common mobile devices such as iPad, iPhone or Android phones.

Note: You must have an active connection to the Internet and an MIT Duo enabled device before proceeding.
